What We Believe
These are the foundations we stand on. Not rules to follow — but truths that set us free and give us hope.
God
We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — Creator of all things, holy, loving, and faithful.
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”
Deuteronomy 6:4Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, ascended to heaven, and will return.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith we are forgiven, made new, and brought into relationship with God.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
Ephesians 2:8The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is active today — transforming lives, empowering believers, producing spiritual fruit, and equipping the Church.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Galatians 5:22–23Scripture
We believe the Bible is inspired and authoritative — the foundation for faith and life.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
2 Timothy 3:16The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, love people, make disciples, and bring hope to the world.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
1 Corinthians 12:27Baptism & Communion
We believe in baptism by immersion as an outward expression of an inward faith, and in communion as a regular remembrance of Christ's sacrifice — proclaiming His death until He comes again.
“For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.”
1 Corinthians 11:26Eternity
We believe in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Death is not the end — it is the doorway to being with God forever.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
